This station has been opened since April 7, 2008.
The new Westside Fire and Police Station is the 3rd Fire station and 2nd police station for the City. The station built is intended to give additional public safety coverage to the City’s west side with the new station of firefighters and police officers at the station. Response time would improve for this area and for all regular calls. according to Fire Chief Whitley.
