Notice of Public Hearing Application for Neighborhood Stabilization Program Funding The City of Newnan and Coweta County are considering applying to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funding in the amount of $2,124,021. These funds must be used to primarily benefit low and moderate income persons.
The activities for which these funds may be used are in the area of housing. More specific details regarding eligible activities, the estimated amount of funds proposed to be used for activities to benefit low and moderate income persons will be provided at a public hearing which will be held at the Newnan City Hall Council chambers, 25 LaGrange Street, Newnan, Georgia on January 13, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. The purpose of this hearing will be to obtain citizen input into the development of the NSP application.
